Characteristics

Short vertical, but due to many security elements not difficult via ferrata, which is suitable also for children. Ferrata is at the very end of the ascent to Skala (777 m), minor peak in Konjiška gora above the city of Slovenske Konjice.

Arrival

From A1 motorway to Slovenske Konjice. We can park on the parking lot at the church in the city centre.

Approach

We follow the well marked trail to Skala (1h to ferrata entrance). The approach is quite steep!

Exit

From the top of ferrata we go right via the normal path back to Slovenske Konjice.

Interesting facts

Nice views of Slovenske Konjice from the platform with a bench at the top of via ferrata. It is possible to prolong the tour to Stolpnik (1012 m), highest peak of Konjiška gora with 25 meters high observation tower - this will take app. additional 2 hours.
