Wildfrauensteig is a simple ridge ferrata that leads to the top of Bosruck 1992m. In many places, however, without the possibility of securing and with exposed sections.
!!! Be careful: July 27, 2019 claimed the life of a twenty-four-year-old Czech tourist who slipped on a wet rock.
Arrival
Linz - direction Graz - Spital am Pyhrn - Ardning - Arning Alm Hutte.
Approach
Follow the road to Bosruck.
Exit
From the top turn right down the slope and back to the cottage.
Interesting facts
Wildfrauenhöhle saying: There are reports of three “wild women”, who protect people and animals from the cave, high up on the northeast ridge.
