Characteristics
The first part leads along the 240 meters high vertical wall to and requires basic knowledge of climbing, because there is no securing for your feet. Several sports sections, one of which is quite challenging. The passage through the stepped bench that follows is longer and more oblique than it seems. A bit ahead of the Biasin bivouac are several steep sections secured by rope. The rest is easier, but the traverse on the hillside of Monte Agner is very airy.
Arrival
Agordo - Frassene.
Approach
From Frassé take the road no.771 to the Rifugio Scarpa. Then about 20min till you get to a trail leading left. From there, follow the marked rugged rock trail until you reach the beginning of the ferrata.
Exit
Descent from the top the same path to bivouac Biasin. From there, to the left down a partially secured path descend steeply to the beginning of a large, mostly snow-filled Grand Canalone gorge and from there join the path you came to the ferrata.
Interesting facts
This ferrata is one of the hardest secured roads in the Dolomites. According to the season, ice ax is recommended for the exit (snow fields).
