Characteristics

An easy via ferrata close to Drei zinnen hütte and Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The Topo map for this ferrata starts from the north from Drei zinnen hütte (Rifuigo Locatelli), however it can be done from the south approaching from Rifugio Auronzo as well. 

Arrival

Note that Drei zinnen hütte (Rifuigo Locatelli) has no car access.With car, arrive at Rifugio Auronzo, however keep in mind the road up to the rifugio is a toll road (approx 30EUR).

Approach

From the cottage Auronzo right under the Tre Cime. Turn left by the crossroad (not Lavarendo) to Locatelli. From it go up the rock and the right to the Innerkofler saddle. From there follow the trail 101 to the East then North to Forcella Lavaredo. Take the right side trail to Passportenkofel up to Forcella de Camoscio, where you need to follow the path to the left for the peak.On the way down follow the same way back to Forcella de Camoscio. Take the left path towards Rifugio A.Locatelli, used as a descend, led by tunnels from the 1st World War. When you arrive at Rif Locatelli, again take the left path numbered 101 that will take you back to the start.

Descent

By the crossroad keep right, turn right until you get back to Lavaredo.
