Characteristics
The via ferrata leads along the canyon to the viewing platform. Climbing is not difficult, it is mainly fun and contains almost all the aspects you would expect on a via ferrata. During the climb, we recorded the most difficult C, especially in the final phase. Otherwise it is alternately B to B/C. There are 3 bridges (9-18m, 25m and 40m, all up to 120kg) always swinging in the second half and all have a guide rope, so you don't have to worry. All the while there are picturesque views of both the riverbed with the waterfalls and the hot nature of the landscape. In the summer months, watch out for the sun, there is almost nowhere to hide.
Arrival
Parking is at the Castro Daire resting place, apparently everyone who goes via ferrata parks here. There are other places to park in the vicinity.
Onset
Since we did not find the access road, as it is not marked, we took the GR 60 down the serpentines on a stony road that led to a private property, where we lost our way and there was no one to ask. We varied it with the river bed and went to the stone bridge behind which is a dilapidated mill, next to it is another dilapidated building and you have to pass between them, a slightly overgrown path cascading upwards. A via ferrata sign with an arrow will appear in front of you, shortly after that you will reach the patch with the start of the via ferrata and info.
Descent
From the platform overlooking the canyon, you can see the place where you parked. Intuitively, you can go to the road on a gravel road approx. 2 minutes and then a kilometer on a straight road to the parking lot.
Interesting facts
Before the top, at the last waterfall, there is a climbing wall and access to the waterfall is ensured by a regular rope. The Lookout is a relaxing place and apparently everything is still in the process of being created even today 5/24.
