Predicting whether..

Characteristics
We'll begin on a specially equipped trail that runs along beautiful strips of land formerly used by shepherds, hence its name.
Along these stretches, we'll find sections equipped for protection and other sections without, marked with small blue arrows.
Among the modified sections, we'll ascend a ridge equipped with steps and pegs, enjoying a magnificent landscape that blends sea and mountains.
During the hike, we'll enjoy breathtaking views and the very high-quality materials used in its construction, which comply with regulations.
We'll reach the final section and begin the ascent until we find the opinion and signature box and the via ferrata itself, which will take us to the foot of the Middle Cross with little difficulty.
Arrival
We'll have two parking options. For now, we'll describe the one we're familiar with and the one we've been told is more pleasant on the way up.
In Tabernes, at the roundabout heading towards Gandía, we'll take the exit through the industrial park. Immediately after, we'll see a sign indicating the way to the Hermitage of Sant Llorenç.
We'll take a very narrow paved road between orange groves until we reach a sharp bend. We'll find a small vacant lot on our right where we can park our vehicle. Before reaching the hermitage, or after passing it, we'll continue to the water tank.
Approach
It depends on the parking area:
- Parking from the hermitage area is the most pleasant climb. Once here, we will ascend past some picnic areas and the hermitage until we reach a water tank, which we will pass to take the marked Pr-V39 path that enters the pine forest.
We will follow this sign until we reach the top of the hill, where we will find the crossroads that leads to the Alto de las Cruzes, and we will follow the new Via Ferrata sign.
We will take the following direction, accompanied by modest blue arrows that will accompany us at all times throughout the route, up to the start of the via ferrata and on its unequipped sections.
Descent
We will follow the aforementioned arrows down to the junction where the via ferrata begins and depending on the parking we will take one path or another.
Points of interest
In the Topo you only see the last of in total 4 parts, it´s very long.
As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata).
