Characteristics
Via Ferrata Fuente de Godalla has a 70 m long zip line and an 80 m long plank bridge. It has also been recently extended with a long flanking with 2 pendulums. The zip line is spectacular and very worthwhile, but you must have braking system. The access is very fast. The facilities are excellent. Perhaps there is a lack of better signage. It has a K3 flanking pass that will make beginners nervous. It has been extended with a new 80 m plank bridge, a K6 access variant plus a long K4 flanking section. Plus several optional rappels and 2 pendulums.
Arrival
From Enguera from ajuntamiento we go along Garnero Fillol street, Enrique Sanchís street, then to San Antonio de Padua street. We arrive at a fork that crosses the river where to the left there is a table and chairs where you can park. Or a little ahead there is a parking space on the right. It is forbidden to continue straight on.
Approach
We leave parallel to the stream up to a small natural pool where we turn right to look for the wall.
Descent
The quickest way is to go down to the bed of the ravine and follow it to the parking lot. We will pass next to the path up. Otherwise you have to make a long way back.
Points of interest
- As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
