Characteristics
This via ferrata is located on a wall on which the fortress Barba di Fior is located. It is quite short and can be climbed within 20 minutes. It is tried to keep this via ferrata "secret" so that tourists can be offered expensive guided tours.

Parking is free of charge here.
Approach
Opposite the parking lot on the other side of the road, the path to Barba di Fior starts directly. There are also signs. The entrance is a bit hidden. When we were there there was a place on the path where a tree fell down. Shortly behind it the entrance begins and you can see the wire rope on the wall.
Descent
Once at the top, you can take the trail that leads away from Forte Barba di Fior back to the parking lot. There is also a rappelling point if you go from the exit of the second part to the right of the fortress in the direction of the parking lot. You should bring 50m of rope for this.
Points of interest
The via ferrata is divided into two parts. The first part takes you from the ground along the wall to just before the fortress. From there you can either start the second part which is steeper along the wall and takes about 10min or directly to the fortress. The entire via ferrata with both parts takes only 20min and is therefor quite short.
