Characteristics

Easy yet demending via ferrata in a very steep wooded slope, ideal as a descent from the well-known Che Guevarra ferrata.

Arrival

Same as Che Guevarra: Munich - Innsbruck - Brenner - Lago di Garda Nord - Torbole. At Torbole at the roundabout, head towards Sarche. About 4km before Sarche in Pietramurata turn at the end of the roundabout to the left between the warehouses, towards the large quarry, which is directly below the wall. You can park your car on the marked parking lot.

Approach

Follow the path marked as Rientro Che Guevarra, which leads to the left of the industrial zone. It comes up to Pietramurata and heads up to ferrate Del Rampin.

But more usually is used as exit route after finishing the Che Guevarra ferrata.
After descending from Monte Casale, pass Rifugio Don Zio and continue south about 20 minutes down the road 408/411 to the Le Quadre (1481m), where you turn slightly left. In about 10 minutes' walk you will see a signpost on which there is a signpost for Del Rampin and from there you walk straight down on a secured road. This will take you back to the town, or to the Che Guevarra car park.

Interesting facts

This ferrata was build in 2012 and the descent via this ferrata from the Che Guevarra ferrata is just one hour faster than the normally recommended descent (north of Monte Casale).
