Characteristics

One of the 5 ferratas in Corsica, it is interesting with a beautiful view of the local landscape. The authors of the ferrata really did a good job! There is practically everything you can think of - classic climbing, footbridges, rope bridges, ladders, zip line, rope net and some overhanging parts. When you go through the entire ferrata and try everything mentioned, or you can exit in the middle to leave the escape route. Since it is a protected area the ferrata is charged and it is also necessary to use non-standard equipment that can be rented there (see below).

Only overhanging sections and net are more demanding, but it is classified as C +. The most fun are probably zip line crossings where you fly over the pulley over the valley which is not for everyone..

Approach

You will come to the town or village of Chisa which you will go through and will be looking for a hotel "Gite D'etapes Bocca Be", there is a parking lot and a shed where is the manager who will give you the necessary equipment and briefing. If nobody is there, just walk around the hotel where someone will serve you.

If you have the necessary equipment and you have already got all the information how to get to the ferrata - without equipment it can not be climbed! Ferrata starts about 5 minutes from the hotel through a dusty car park towards the only visible rock in the area. The road is marked with signs.

The entrance begins with a rope bridge over a stream in a dense forest and probably the only pleasant shade that will no longer be there - put on ferrata gear. Then for about 15-20 minutes you walk the path up a gentle hill still in the vegetation of the local flora.

Exit

After finishing the last zip line the forest goes back to the hotel, the way is the only one and practically can not go elsewhere.

Interesting facts

Toll entry! In 2017 it was for every person: 20 € service charge and authorities, 3 € steel carabiner + tandem pulleys. You can rent a complete ferrata set, helmet for 10 €.

After climbing to the highest point of the ferrata you can see the sea.

The ferrata will "fly" you on a total of 4 rope slides at distances of 70, 85, 100 and a magnificent 230 meters.

It is recommended to start at 10am, then the sun will fry into you until the evening and you cannot hide on the ferrata - it is necessary to have sunscreen, etc., enough water !!!
