Characteristics

A short via Ferrara starting at around 2100 meters high, as a variant of an Alpine path.

The Ferrata is not hard and takes around 30-40min to complete.

The hike to get there is quite long and physically demanding, though. Start early!!

Best for the months between June-September.

Arrival

Take the cable car Schattdorf-Haldi and then follow in direction Grätli.

Approach

From Grätli, follow the Alpine path (blue-white markings) until you will see the Ferrata on your right side.

Descent

Follow the path all the way back to the Haldi vale car station

Points of interest

The window known as "Bälmetentor", or "Bälmeten Gate" and the small cave that just follows it.
