Predicting whether..

Characteristics
We find a small via ferrata, but that does not mean we should underestimate it. On its route we will find both horizontal staples as we are used to and vertical ones that will make us play with hip movements to progress.
As soon as we begin we will arrive at a cave that acts as a natural shelter and we will find the first bridge of 35 m and 10 m from the ground, noticing the sway it carries (plan for some system to lengthen the heatsinks).
Once passed, we will ascend in search of a lateral traverse. Another point in favor of this ferrata is that you have to use your own natural grips to progress in many parts of its route.
After this crossing which they have called "Del Sol" due to its exposure in the winter months, from here we will be able to enjoy the views, to find the other east bridge of 25 m and 20 m from the ground. Once we overcome it, we will only have to ascend. encountering a small collapse on our journey to the end.
Arrival
We head to Arcos de la Sierra on the CUV-9114 from Villalba de la Sierra. 1 km before entering the town, pay attention on the right hand side, we will see a vertical indicator of the PR-25 and further to the right an electricity pole. We get on the track.
A. Recommended: we follow the first detour to the left, cross the bed of the torrent and the next turn to the right. We see indicator at PR-25. We continue straight until the end of the track where there is the white hut and the entrance to the strait.
B. We continue to the right at the first detour, we reach the end of the track, next to a farm and in an uphill area that cannot be climbed with a low car. We parked on the side about 50 meters from a solitary tree.
Approach
A. Recommended: from the white hut we walk towards the strait, we cross the torrent and in less than a minute we see on the right hand side the first staples that go up to the Tibetan bridge.
B. From the tree we must cross the torrent on foot and join the wide dirt track that takes us to the white house. It's an extra 10 minutes of walking.
Descent
A. Recommended: we go down the slope on the right hand side, discarding the dirt track. It is a somewhat uneven slope but in 2 minutes we will be crossing the bed of the torrent to the white hut.
A1. There is a variant back to the hut through the dry ravine parallel to the second part of the via ferrata. The highest rappel is 14 meters.
B. If we have parked next to the tree on the other side of the torrent, from the end of the via ferrata we follow the track that descends to the southwest and in about 400 meters we will reach the car.
Points of interest
- As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
