Characteristics
Ferrata Alicún de las Torres is an easy, sloping route. It is ideal for children or beginners. The views from it are breathtaking. On the way, before the end of the via ferrata, there is a 15m long Tibetan Moss, if anyone doesn't feel like it, there is an exit to the reservoir in front of it, from which you go to the parking lot.
To enter, you need to request a permit at the Alicún Spa. A fee of EUR 10 (2025) must be paid.
Arrival
We parked in front of the Alicún Spa in Villanueva de la Torre. Don't confuse it with another town named Alicún.
Onset
Follow the path down below the spa level and then left to a grassy area where you can hear water. We pass the hot spring and reach a viewpoint with a wooden bench made from a tree trunk. The entrance is visible, but everything is dominated by a no-entry sign.
Descent
We pass a water reservoir on the left. It descends to the road that can be seen from the top, which will take you back to the spa. Or from the reservoir go towards the buildings where there is information about private land.
