Characteristics

The first section to the wooden platform is common for both routes, finding for the most part a very beautiful and aesthetic horizontal crossing over the waters of the Júcar in which we will find an optional 28-meter zip line and a very easy route.

Once on the platform we can continue along K3 in a traverse or in this case ascend in search of K4 which will not pose any difficulty, finding on its way two bridges and an exit with a very vertical change of edge and with magnificent views and at the same time with a good patio feel.

Arrival

Taking the town as a reference in the direction of Ventano del Diablo, we will find several parking options:

- On the Cm-125 in the middle of the town towards Ventano we will find on our left an entrance towards the Hotel el Tablazo where we can park.

- On the same road, ascending towards Ventano in a sharp curve we will see on our left a dirt track which we will take (be careful with low cars), finding a few meters further on an open field to park or reach its end where we will find the indicator panel and another parking spot.

Approach

Depending on the parking area, the approach and its time will also vary:

- If we have parked at the hotel we will follow the path and indications in the direction of Ventano.

- If, however, we have decided to park in the first parking lot on the dirt track, we will only follow the track to the information panel and from there the indicators to the start.

At the parking point at the end of the runway where the indicator panel is located, the approach is minimal.

Descent

Once at its end we will see the parking lot and all that remains is to follow the path and its indications to the panel parking lot and from there to the parking lot where we left the car.

Points of interest

Via ferrata is located within the Natural Park of the Serranía de Cuenca. Access is regulated to ensure maximum safety and sustainability of the natural enclave, so it is necessary to book by calling from 9:00 to 21:00 at number +34 619 240 222.

- As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
