Characteristics

First via ferrata of the great network of via ferrata of the Serrania de Ronda is a short and vertical route classified as medium-easy. It is located in the Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema has 70 meters of unevenness, a couple of overhanging steps and a short Tibetan bridge that leaves us on a beautiful summit, viewpoint over the town of Benaoján. After the restoration of the ferrata of the Tajo de Ronda this has been the first ferrata built in the network of via ferrata of the Serrania de Ronda.

Arrival

We can park either at the entrance of the village or at the viewpoint, the approach takes the same time.

Approach

From the entrance of the village we will descend in search of the welcome panel and once passed, we will arrive to the indicative sign of curve and we will ascend behind it where we can already see the ferrata.

If we park at the viewpoint we will only have to ascend in search of these signs and follow the same steps.

Descent

Once at the top we will follow the path and the milestones to the left as you leave the ferrata, we will arrive at a metal gate which we will have to open to pass (remember to close it and knowledge as part of the path runs through private land).
