Characteristics
A very simple and nice secured via ferrata right under the famous bridge in Ronda. Can offer beautiful views of the bridge, gorge and landscape.
Arrival
You can reach Ronda easily, then the secured road is reachable on foot by crossing the bridge to the south side of the city and coming down below.
Approach
It's not well-marked. You descend to the gorge using the main tourist path, this eventually turns into a narrow twisting single track as it passes through an old arched wall. Shortly after this there is a locked gate on the right-hand side that says restricted access, but it is easy to swing around the edge. The start of both VF are a little way down this path. This easier one which is farther from the bridge, has a well-marked sign with a start of the ferrata right off the main road.
Descent
Climb up and you get back on the hiking trail.
Points of interest
It is a secured French-style path, so a looser steel rope with a lot of cramps.
Beautiful views of the surroundings. And after the exit you will be a target in the viewfinder of Asian tourists :)
