Characteristics

A very easy but very beautiful secured trail that runs just above Lake Como and offers breathtaking views of the lake from a variety of viewpoints. It is not necessarily necessary to have via ferrata equipment unless you are a complete beginner. However, a helmet and gloves are definitely recommended.

Arrival

Via Stelvio, Lecco. There is parking space for two cars directly in front of the entrance.

Boarding

At the beginning of Via Stelvio, a marked, secured path leads to Rifugio Riccardo Piazza.

Exit

Via the Sentiero per San Martino e Rif path. Piazza to the Madonna del Carmine chapel, from there take stairs back to the parking lot.
