Sentiero SOSAT - B/C
Predicting whether..
Characteristics
The light and appealing alternative to the overlying Brenta classic Bocchette Alte follows path 305b from the Rif. Tuckett with a slight difference in height to the Brentei and Alimonta huts. The b after 305 stands for "basso", the lower alternative to the Bocchette Alte, both in altitude and in difficulty - which is why the Sentiero SOSAT is often made even in unsafe weather. The main part of the ferrata is in the Val Brenta Alta, but is usually started by the Rif. Tuckett with a short secured position. In between there is a lot of walking space (past large blocks) and a wonderful view of the Adamello Presanella group.
