Characteristics
The smugglers walked througt this way in the past, but now you meet mainly local people with clients. This ferrata is not a typical ferrata. This is a road in the rock above Lake Garda and although it seems simple, there are exposed C / D passages and some passages have to be secured by your own rope and karabines. Without own rope only for very experienced alpinists !!
Arrival
Riva del Garda - from where you go to Val di Ledro, pass through a long tunnel, and drive through Biacesa to Pregasina. There is another long tunnel and right behind it there is a curve with a view and a statue where you park.
Approach
From the car park you go back to the tunnel, but before it you turn right to the asphalt road (many bikers ride it) and go down. After a few turns, you reach the stone sign "Traccio Lino" and turn left onto the gravel path. Afterwards, you will reach the visible edge of the rock, where the sign of the ferrata begins and the safety net.
Exit
Ferrata ends on the road after which you have to go back to the car.
