A short via ferrata, combined with a visit to the famous ski center.

Arrival

Altenmarkt im Pongau, Zauchensee, parking at the canoeing rental (47.2973878N, 13.4577742E).

Approach

From the car park to the left just behind the sign with the description of the ferrata. After approx. 50m you will get to a small lake right next to the start of the ferrata (47.2967356N, 13.4580686E) about 1380 above sea level.

Exit

On a trail and a wooden footpath around the starting point back to the carpark.

Interesting facts

When you descend, you will pass mini-ferrata for real beginners (kids - A/B?).
