Characteristics

In conjunction with Paternkofel, one of the most beautiful tours in the Dolomites (at least in terms of views) can be heard. Suitable for beginners.

Arrival

From Lake Misurna on the paid road to Rif. Auronzo (about 7km).

Approach

From Rif. Auronzo in 45 minutes to Patern saddle (2454 m). Follow the climbing trails right up until after about 5 minutes you reach the entrance to the first tunnel.

Exit

In Gamsscharte have 3 options:
 

Ascent to Paternkofel
Descent via ferrata Da Luca - Innerkofler (war tunnels) to the cottage Dreizinnenhütte
Descent via ferrata Schartenweg to Büllelejoch
