Characteristics

Simple and short ferrata near Hallstatt, suitable for beginners for example. At its top are benches so you can relax or snack here.

Arrival

Bad Ischl and Bad Goisern. From Bad Goisern to the direction Lasern, through this village take a winding way up to the Berghof Predigstuhl parking place. Pointers are all the way.

Approach

From the parking lot on the way which is marked for skiers and a small yellow Klettersteig arrow. At the first crossroad, about 100 meters from the parking lot, turn left up again, following the yellow arrow. The path turns back towards the cottage. You will reach the crossroads where are the yellow tourist arrows to the right and left to Predistuhl. Take the Wanderweg 245 to the right along the gravel road to Predistuhl. After less than a kilometer, you will see on the tree the blue signs Klettersteig Leadership and Klettersteig Mein Land, Dein Land. You will go to the left in the forest steeply up the Wanderweg Predistuhl. Do not be fooled by the red arrows sprayed in the woods, they are for woodcutting. You still have to go up the hill and Klettersteig Leadeship starts in about 2/3 of the hill. It is marked with the arrow to the left  and the blue table on the tree.

(we have to admit that we never found the way:))

Exit

By a normal marked way back to the car park. You can walk around and come from the left to the Berghof Predigstuhl. Alternatively, join the ferrata Mein Land, Dein Land. Just turt right down the hill here 47.66103N. You'll save yourself too much falling and ascending.
