Characteristics

Beautiful and short Ferrata with amazing accessibility right on Lake Vorderer Gosausee. It starts with a traverzo a few meters above the lake (you can jump to the lake), where you can reach the rock above the trail using the ladder. The end of the ferrata ends with a rope bridge with one rope at the top and one on the bottom. If you are dizzy, it will be a challenge! Ferrata is cyclical, ending in almost the same place where it begins. In summer, Ferrata is relatively busy.

Arrival

In front of Lake Vorderer Gosasee there is a car park and restaurant Gasthof Gosasee (do not take cards and there is no wifi :)) - info from 2015

Approach

From the restaurant there runs road along the left bank of the lake. After about 20 minutes, you'll see the start of the via ferrata.

Exit

The ferrata ends in the same place where it starts. You can go back to the restaurant using the same trail.
