Characteristics

Below the Col de la Colombière pass is a typical secured mountain path that is not extremely demanding, but less experienced climbers might be surprised by its length. After a 16 meter long bridge, the key point is a 50 meter high wall of a rock tower called Jallouvre. If you don't dare climb this airy wall, you can leave the ferrata at this point.

Arrival

From Annecy towards Le Grand Bornand, then to Chinaillon and the Col de la Colombière, where there is a car park 1 km below the pass.

Boarding

From the parking lot, go down the path and then right up to the entrance to the via ferrata.

Exit

Follow an unmarked path towards Col de la Colombière and turn right at the signpost to the car park.
