Characteristics

The New Vía Ferrata de la Pita or 100 Caños is located in Villanueva del Trabuco in the province of Málaga: They consist of 5 very different and independent sections with different difficulties so that you can live your Adventures to the fullest. 

This route is more affordable and enjoyable than its neighbor. It will allow us to have fun, overcome some simple overhangs and will leave us wanting to travel the entire route.

Arrival

Starting from Villanueva del Trabuco we will take Camino Borreguero street in the direction of the ferrata and in about 3 km we will pass in front of the information panel. If we continue a few meters to our right we will see a large open field where we can leave the car.

Approach

From the parking lot we will see the wall through which the ferrata runs and we will ascend towards it along the path.

Points of interest

- As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
