Good parking lot and then you go up - direction Malyovitsa hut.

Approach

Via Ferrata is quite hard to find. I marked detailed location of the ferrata beginning - it is here https://maps.app.goo.gl/5Y9kSTKchwBYWbzb6

I try to mark it also in mapy.cz -> https://mapy.com/s/lofofocutu but here I am not 100% sure, because I did not mark it when I was there.

Moreover I updated GPS coordinates (as of 27.08.2025) so old comment that coords are inaccurate is outdated.

In general, just before the rifugio, on right side you see big rock. Path is behind this rock. It was quite clear where it is. You have to go up between dwarf pine. It takes about 15 minutes and you gain 100 meters altitude. Once you leave the dwarf pines, you will see huge rock wall in front of you. Altitude there is exactly 2000 m. Then look for the path on right side, just in front of the rock wall. You have to follow the path about 30 meters before you see the beginning of ferrata. It is not visible from the main path!

Descent

Once the rope is over, turn left. There will be a path - not very clear, but I found it without any problem. It is not marked on mapy.cz! You have to follow this path until you reach another path leading to Malyovitsa from north side (it is marked on mapy.cz - this is the same path that you entered the ferrata). Then just go down, you pass the beginning of ferrata and reach big rock near the hut.
