Characteristics

An easy via ferrata, which is in the proper mountains and leads as an interesting alternative to the normal hiking trail to Tierberglihütte. Most of the ferrata is difficulty B, couple of sections are of difficulty B/C and C.

Arrival

Munich - Lindau - Zurich - and then towards Gothard. Take the Wassen to Sustenpass where you turn to the Umpol parking lot.

Approach

From the parking lot, across the bridge to the stone men where is the start of the ferrata.

Exit

From the Teirberglihutte, follow the marked path back to the parking lot.
