Characteristics

A short and often overlooked via ferrata below the high path. It's probably not worth coming here for this trail alone, but it can be used to warm up before the aforementioned high trail.

Arrival

Linz - Regau exit - Bad Goisern - direction Lasern - after about 3.5 km turn left to the Rathlucken Hütte - see GPS coordinates.

Boarding

As with the Höhenweg - From the Rathlucken Hut in a northerly direction on the marked hiking trail, along the height and then slightly uphill on a forest path directly to the Eternal Wall. However, before you pass the tunnel, you will see a path under the rocks on the left. Climb over the railing and follow this path until you reach a large boulder, through which you climb between the block and the rock and then climb up to the right where the rope appears in front of you.

Exit

The ferrata ends at a viewpoint from which you can either go through the tunnels to the high path, or you can walk through the tunnels back to the car.
