Characteristics
A quite simple, but quite long via ferrata. Some exposed sections are not secured.
Arrival
Parking + cable car.
Approach
Take two cable cars from the parking lot to the Lorenzi refugia, where the ferrata begins. The second one has been here since 1968! You could also walk up, but count on a three-hour ascent.
Exit
From the top of the ferrata descend to the Col dei Stombi saddle, then continue to the Ospitale d'Ampezzo. Here you can leave your second car to speed up your return. Otherwise, continue past the Padeon cable car to the east until you reach the Son Forca cable car. Continue down until you come back to the parking lot.
