Characteristics

The lower part of the Ibex via ferrata overcomes various rocky steps in a steep forest. At the top, you cross narrow lanes – almost reminiscent of the Brent – in the exposed steep face to the right towards the end. Overall, it's a very varied via ferrata that - when you take all the variants - has a lot to offer. A detour to the Ratschings valley, which is not far from the Brenner route (Vipiteno), is always worth it - a very attractive via ferrata adventure can be experienced very close to the valley, a little away from the usual tourist crowds!

Arrival

Prague > Rozvadov > Munich > Innsbruck > Brenner > Sterzing > direction Vallettina.

Onset

From the parking lot, follow the path behind the wooden cabin to the already visible entrance.

Descent

From the end of the via ferrata, take hiking trail #14B down to the Plattnerhof, there along the gravel path back to the parking lot.

Interesting facts
