A very nice via ferrata, that even though it has one part difficulty C/D, a beginner can handle. Most of the harder sections have cramps, otherwise it is an easy ferrata full of beautiful views :)
Arrival
From the highway to Innsbruck, take the Zillertal and go to the town of Mayerhofen. In front of the station, turn right over the river and then stop in the small mini-golf car park just outside of Gasthof Zillertal. If there is a full capacity, you can use a paid parking space directly for ferrata visitors (3h - 2euro).
Approach
Follow the forest path alongside Gasthof Zillertal and in a few minutes you will be at the start of the ferrata :)
Exit
From the Gasthof Zimmereben hut go between the rocks down to the car park.
