Characteristics

An easy ferrata, but very attractive as it runs through a gorge, just above the stream Hudičev potok. With many security elements and bridges just around one meter above the stream it is very suitable as the first ferrata for smaller children.

Arrival

From Celje in direction Laško and Zidani most. We cross the first bridge over river Savinja just outside of Celje (traffic lights) and after crossing the bridge we continue right. After we come to village of Zagrad we follow the signs "Hudičev graben" straight ahead. We park the car close to NOB monument where there is space.

Approach

We follow the marked path to Hudičev graben until we come to the beginning of the gorge, where we turn right to the beginning of ferrata.

Exit

The easiest descent is on the same way.

Interesting facts

We can prolong our trip to Celjska koča (652m) or Pečovniška koča na Grmadi (620m) and to the top of Grmada nad Celjem (718m) with the bell of wishes.
