Characteristics

It is not a classic via ferrata that we are used to. However, it is a secured path. Ropes with knots are used as a protection, but unfortunately the ferrata set is useless and so you will have to rely on your hands. The ferrata goes down to the lagoon and then back. It's divided into several floors, the last of which is the hardest. It climbs through a tiny rock window. Difficulty is about "C", but if on the last floor you do not use the rock window and climb straight, then the three meters are about difficulty D/E.

Arrival

Boat on Railay beach or Phra Nang beach. Follow the trail to Pra-nang rock climbing club. Here you will see a sign to the lagoon.

Approach

Get off the sidewalk and go uphill along a path that is secured by large ropes between the trees. Uphill is a crossroads, Turn right to the lagoon. The path starts to descend until you reach the first rope.

Exit

Same as approach.

Interesting facts

It is not a classic ferrata, it is secured only by a rope with knots.

Unfortunately, the ferrata set will not help here.

You will climb through narrow rock window.

A hidden lagoon surrounded by rocks awaits you at the end of the road.
