Update information

Characteristics

One of the most popular via ferrata in Slovenia, built in 1928, which will take you across the northern wall to the top of Mala Mojstrovka (2332 m). Short ascent, steep and exposed climb, well secured and with easy descent.

Arrival

From Kranjska Gora to the pass Vršič (1611 m).

Approach

From Vršič along a nice path towards Tamar to Vratca (1799 m). From there in another 15 minutes to the beginning of the ferrata, which can be seen from a distance.

Exit

To the south on the normal route to Mala Mojstrovka (scramble).

Interesting facts

Although the ferrata is not technically demanding, it is better to have some experience, because it is very exposed in some places.
