Characteristics

This via ferrata is close to the Feuerkogel Cable Car and Lake Traunsee. You can see the reflection of Dachstein glaciers and the valley with lake Traunsee. It is one of the less difficult ferratas. You might have to use the cable car.

Arrival

Linz (A1) - Regau - then B145 to Ebensee. In Ebensee turn towards Oberlangbath and park there.

Approach

From the top station of the cable car head towards Alberfelkogel. In the mountain pass before Alberfelkogel, turn right and you'll reach the start.

Exit

Back towards the cable car.
