Characteristics

One of the oldest ferratas in Slovenia - from the end of the 19th century. It connects Češka koča with Mlinarsko sedlo, which is one of north approaches to highest summit of Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Grintovec (2558 m).

Arrival

Parking lot in Ravenska Kočna through Jezersko.

Approach

From parking lot in 1,5 hours to Češka koča (also possible to use sport via ferrata - D). Shortly above the hut via ferrata begins and leads us to Mlinarsko sedlo. From there it is possible to go to Grintovec in another 1h.

Exit

Same as approach. In case of second car it is more convenient to descent to Kokrsko sedlo and to Kamniška Bistrica.

Interesting facts

Combining Grintovec (2558 m) in the tour is a must!
