Predicting whether..

Characteristics
Freifall via ferrata, built on the slate rock and opened at the beginning of 2018.
It's a great and very exposed ferrata. If you stand directly at the edges and you can really think that you are in a free fall. You will also enjoy the unrivaled, extra-long and high rope bridge.
It is an ideal complement to the new Klammfloch and the original more difficult Kitzklettersteig.
Arrival
By car from Salzburg to A10 to Bischofshofen and Zell am See, then to B311 to Taxenbach. Just before the petrol station, turn left. Then follow the signs to the Kitzlochklamm parking lot.
Approach
- If you only go to this ferrata go from the cash desk of "Klammfloh" on the "Klammweg" uphill. After crossing the steep stairway, Klammweg divides. Turn right. After the longest tunnel, the so-called "Kitzloch," a "free fall" begins. The rails must be crossed and climb over the edge.
- If you plan to have more ferratas, then start with (1) the Klammfloch family, go on (2) Kitzklettersteig and finish this (3) - look at the TOPO.
Descent
From the exit go a little bit uphill and then turn right down into a very steep forest (dangerous in rainy weather) - around the exit on the rope bridge - until you reach the Klammweg again.
