Characteristics

Easy secure way, ideal for to ascent to Hohe Wand. After the forest path we reach the rock. The secured path itself begins with an approximately 8-meter-high wall, which is overcomed by the cramps. Then it leads along the rocky ledge and passes into a rock cave, where is about 15 meters high chimney with a steel ladder. After leaving the chimney, the forest footpath follows to the Hohe Wand plateau. The rock wall and the chimney are not secured by fixed ropes, only by the cramps and ladders.

* Secured by ladders and steel ladder, no fixed ropes!

* Also suitable for beginners and children (with safety rope instead).

Arrival

Parking Sonnenuhr (approx. 590 m)

Approach

* Parking Sonnenuhr => via Frauenluckensteig on the plateau (1:30)

* Frauenluckensteig secured section itself (0:10)

* Descent and return to parking (1:00)

Exit

* After marked road Völlerin return to Sonnenuhr 

* Via Frauenluckensteig back to Sonnenuhr 

Interesting facts

* The Skywalk viewing platform is located at the exit of Frauenluckensteig on the Hohe Wand plateau.

* We recommend using the Frauenluckensteig to modify the descent route after completing HTL-Steig.

* The Hohe Wand Plateau is charged
