Characteristics

Rope bridges, waterfalls, river, cramps, beautiful surroundings and nature - this is exactly what Ferrata de Tière looks like. The passages are mostly simple except for one section of difficulty C/D.

Arrival

A9 to Monthey and via Val d’Illiez to Champéry. In the center is a large parking lot near the cable car.

Approach

From the parking lot, go to Tennisplatz (Via ferrata sign), turn right to the river, across the bridge to the start of the ferrata.

Exit

From the ferrata, continue up the road, then turn right and go to Cantine de Rives. Turn right to Défago Gallery and then walk back to Champery.
