Characteristics
Sentiero dei Camminamenti is part of a longer trip. First part is Sentiero delle Laste and after you reach Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, another very easy ferrata starts. Most interesting part on this ferrata are 3 tunnels from 1st world war and few caves on the way up. After you pass 2 tunnels and reach the third one you have 2 options - you can go left to third tunnel (long, about 300 meters) and then climb to Cima Rocca with the most interesting part of this ferrata, or you can turn right and go directly to the summit without any ropes.
Arrival
On the Brenner motorway to Rovereto South / Lago di Garda Nord and then on to Torbole on Lake Garda. From there on to Riva del Garda. In Riva in the direction of Val di Ledro (through the long tunnel) to Biacesa (Biacesa is just at the end of the first, long tunnel passage). Park in front of or in the village.
Approach
In the village on the right follow the signs (way 417). After a short time on a paved road, turn right on the Sentiero dei Bech (trail 470) in the direction of the via ferrata. At a branch turn left towards the Sentiero Laste on path 471. Then climb Sentiero delle Laste (ferrata A/B) to F. Arcioni bivac / Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. Ferrata starts between bivac and Chiesa - above the small grass meadow with picknick tables (not next to bivac!)
You can also go up with 416 -> 460 but it is the same time as ferrata Sentiero Delle Laste.
Descent
Depending on which route you choose:
1. You can take the same way down and then follow nice path behind the Chiesa 460 -> 417 (60-75 minutes),
2. You go to Bocca Pasumer and then take 460B -> 460 -> 417 (90 minutes)
3. You can go to Bocca Pasumer, then enter 405 (ferrata B) Fausto Sussati II -> Via Ferrata Mario Foletti (460) -> bivac ->460 -> 471 (120 minutes).
4. You can take longest route Bocca Pasumer, then enter 405 (ferrata B) Fausto Sussati II -> ferrata Fausto Sussati I -> 470 - it can be up to 150 minutes
