Characteristics
A very difficult via ferrata in Most pod Hněvínské hrad, which already requires considerable experience and good climbing technique. The beginning is a relatively easier vertical ascent, followed by a more difficult inclined traverse, then again a vertical, but easier ascent, which passes into the most difficult part, about 4m of an inclined traverse in a considerable overhang, followed by a relatively easier final vertical ascent.
Arrival
Parking lot at the castle, see GPS parking.
Onset
On the way to the old waterworks to the start of the via ferrata or to the left before the entrance to the castle about 100m to the gazebo and then to the right go down the forest path to the entrance.
Descent
The via ferrata connects to route 1, which ends at the gazebo, from it back to the parking lot.
Interesting facts
There is a cave near the via ferrata that was excavated by German soldiers during World War II and served as a shelter against air raids.
