Characteristics
Short but led in a nice chimney made by Cascata Sajant waterfall. This climb is probably not for beginners. Due to waterfall the rockface and the cable can be wet and a bit slippery. Additionally there are sections where there are no iron steps, the steps are craved into the rock resembling a rock climb. Be prepared, maybe cheeck out the youtube videos first.
Arrival
From Riva towards Lago di Tenno; 3 km above Tenno to the parking lot at the nothern end of Ballino village in front of the Ristorante Pizzeria da Lucio, follow the side road up and back to gravel parking lot designated for the ferrata (shown on google maps). It is paid parking, you will need coins or notes.
Approach
The path starts at the far end of the Ballino car park and heads westward along the Saiand horse farm (towards the right) up on forest path that can be muddy and slippery.
Descent
Forest path north back under the waterfall and return the same way. The entire ferrata follows the Cascata Sajant waterfall of the Rio Ruzza mountain stream with three waterfall crossings over the rope bridges; the lower part of the lake has been working for several years, the upper part was built in July 2019
