Characteristics

The via ferrata begins with a more challenging climb of difficulty level B along a rocky ridge. Then it goes over individual boulders. There are many crossings in the middle section, the difficulty is mostly B, the final climb is also easy. The via ferrata is well suited for beginners, it is very well secured and equipped with many grips.

Season: July 16th - February 14th

During the breeding season from February 15th to July 15th, climbing is not permitted on certain upper parts of the climbing routes. Unfortunately, we were unable to find out more detailed information about the affected areas. For more information see www.vasaltutak.hu.

Boarding

From the parking lot, walk east past the Köpince Fogado restaurant. After 50 meters the road turns left but you continue straight on the footpath. After about 100 meters turn right at the intersection. After less than 200 meters in a southeasterly direction you will reach the stream bed. Here you turn right again in a southerly direction, about 500 meters further. The approach is to the left of the path and poorly marked (like most via ferratas in this area).

Exit

From the summit, follow the well-trodden forest path to the right. There are pink arrows on the trees that will lead you to the "Lemenet" via ferrata descent in about 5 minutes. The descent ends at the access path, which takes you back to the parking lot.

Interesting facts

The Köpince Fogado restaurant at the parking lot offers great home-cooked cuisine. We recommend the burger with pulled pork!
