Characteristics
A lonely, very long and alpine mountain tour to Conturinesspitze. The climb was named Diedonné de Dolomieu, after the French geologist who discovered the "magic" dolomite rock.
Arrival
From St. Lorenzen to Val Badia and via St. Kassian towards the Falzarego Pass. At the Sciare bridge (large gravel bed) left to the parking lot of the Capanna Alpina.
Approach
Ascend from the Capanna Alpina on path no. 11 to the Tadegajoch (2157 m). There left on a trail into the Valle di Lavares, past Conturinessee to Piz delle Due Forcelle (2929 m, then on trail 12b). From a notch to the left (on the right it goes to the Lavarella point) to the first security elements. Over short, secured stony steps (B) you reach the summit.
Exit
The same way as the ascent.
Interesting facts
If you combine the tour with Laverellaspitze and the opposite summit, you reach three 3000 m peaks!
