Characteristics

A nice via ferrata leading through a dry riverbed. Relatively difficult, secured only by chains in some parts. The most difficult part is at the end of the ferrata which is a smooth chimney.

Approach

The start of the ferrata is not well marked. From the main road, turn left and then a short distance on the footpath and then basically walk through the river bed to the start of the ferrata.

Authorization from the patronat de la muntanya de Montsarrat is required.

As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
