Characteristics
The tree house via ferrata is a mini via ferrata on the way to the Zwerchwand, on a block that is on the left side of the path in the middle of the forest. The climb is often wet and not particularly worthwhile, but can be done well in combination with the other Zwerchwand via ferratas Lindwurm and Frosch.
Arrival
On the A 1 to Regau, then on the B 145 to Bad Goisern Süd. There towards Lasern (signpost "Lesehotel") and about 3.5 km up the road. On a winding road uphill to the large parking lot just below the hotel. By public transport: Take the train to Bad Goisern, then continue on foot to the Predigstuhl hiking car park.
Approach
From the parking lot, pass the barrier and follow the forest road northeast towards Hütteneckalm. You will soon come to the Roßmoosalm alpine huts. The forest road then becomes a little steeper and a path branches off to the left (yellow hiking sign) to the Hütteneckalm. But you stay on the forest road and follow it through a kind of wooden gate, shortly afterwards there are prominent boulders on the right and left next to the road. There you climb to the left in a few steps to a large boulder. The entrance is on the north side (back) near a pile of wood and a board.
Descent
It is a via ferrata circuit that leads back to the start. From there take the access path back or continue to the Zwerchwand via ferrata.
Points of interest
In theory private ferrata of "Outdoor Leadership" but no problem to do by yourself.
