Characteristics
This partially secured via ferrata with a historical flair from the First World War leads through several tunnels (a headlamp is helpful) to the summit of Monte Cornetto. The most difficult section is the last branch to the summit, which is secured with a chain and is around the corner. It is not marked and not visible. If you're already descending, you've missed it.
Arrival
The approach is from the Campogrosso saddle along the C.A.I 170 path towards Passo Seletta and then to Monte Cornetto.

Exit
A look at the map immediately offers several options for how you can return. One of these is along the ridge past the Three Apostles, where you continue through the tunnels from the First World War.
