Alpenvereinssteig is a very old, historic ferrata from 1910.
Arrival
Vienna - Gloggnitz - Reichenau an der Rax - Höllental - Weichtalhaus.
Approach
From the car park to the Große Höllental Valley. Go straight along the forest path, then turn right to Hoyos-Steigs, when you reach the info table turn left. Use the blue turist sign over the bridge which will lead you to the start of the ferrata.
Exit
From Ottohaus via "Wachthuettelkamm" to Weichtalhaus will take you about 2-3h.
