Characteristics

Nice and new ferrata near Innsbruck, quite long, the top is next to Bettelwurfhütte, where is an excellent cuisine ! Due to the length it is necessary to expect a better physical condition and to reserve more time for climbing. Although Ferrata is not difficult according to the difficulty level C, it can cause problems for the beginners.

Arrival

Hall an Tirol and then Absam and Halltall. At the end of the street below the valley there is a large parking lot.

Approach

From the parking lot to Bettelwurf Eck. There turn right and towards Bettelwurfhütte. About 20m behind the bridge go to the left to get on. The path is well marked all the time.

Exit

From top to Bettelwurfhütte (approx. 1h). Then back to normal (AV-Weg 222) turn to Bettelwurf Eck (approx. 2h) and back to the car park (approx. 45min).
