Characteristics

A hidden via ferrata at the turnoff from the mountain route in Veliká Paklnica. This is probably the entry route to the climbing wall on Veliki Ćuk UIAA-V. On TOPO it is the lower part marked as Fixseil. If you don't continue as a climber, the only way back is via ferrata again. I would see the point of climbing this via ferrata without continuing to climb is that you have views of the rocks in the canyon.

Arrival

Arrival in Starigrad and via Paklenička to the end of the road to the parking lot. There is usually a parking and entrance fee.

Onset

Follow the main route up and before the bridge to the Veliki Ćuk turnoff. Then through a light scree in rhombus under the wall to the rope.

Descent

Through Anica kuk, descend over the ridge. The entire descent takes about 3 hours. It is possible to take the same route, but it is inconvenient.

Interesting facts

UIAA-V climbing can be continued.
